| Bio: | Okay, here's the deal: Being married to a writer who is friends with lots of writers who all do writerly things (and sometimes not so writerly things) is quite possibly one of the most...let's just say "interesting" situations that a person can find himself in. Yes, it is true, I have a weakness for "She Who Must Be Obeyed" a.k.a "The Committee" and all of her...numerous quirks. Some of these, I have discovered much to my horror (post nuptually of course), are contagious. While I have been striving to develop a cure in secret (well...it was a secret), all attempts thus far have been unsuccessful. One of my greater strengths (weakness?) is that I love to read. This passion, and it usually starts this way from what I am told, has led me to develop (if only in premise) a novel of my own. I did mention that some things are contagious, right? Recently I have joined a group of gamers (role playing games...that seemed safe), who are also among "The Committee"'s above mentioned friends and who have become friends of mine over time as well. (Do you see, dear reader, the progression of the contagiousness of the contagions?). Much to my surprise...and horror...it was decided (I am always out voted) that at the end of each session, each player is to create a journal entry for their respective character. In order to create these entries it was necessary for me to log onto this site and create for myself a LiveJournal account. Essentially the purpose of this Journal is two fold. One, I hope to hammer out the novel premise of mine into something more than a mere smattering of ideas (my transformation to the Dark Side is nearly complete...run, dear reader, save yourself), and two, to be able to access the Game Journal page to post my character's activities. One note of caution: I have no idea what will become of this Journal. It could be anything from a sea of blank whiteness to a seething storm of caffine intoxication and sleep deprivation induced gibberish. While you are, of course, permitted and encouraged to post any questions, advice, searing social commentary, and smart ass remarks you so desire, I am likewise free to (with or without warning) cut, paste, ammend, delete, obliterate, or otherwise render incomprehensible (like that will be hard) any and all text I post.
